Glory to God in the Highest!

Glory to God in the Highest!

Dear CMK Family,

We pray your hearts and homes are filled with the blessings Jesus, the very first missionary, brings!  As we celebrate the birth of Jesus we are filled with awe once again at the words the angels proclaimed:

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will towards men."  -Luke 2:14

This year, we saw those words come alive across the nations...

We saw Peace enter villages in Paraguay that had been bound in fear.

We saw Good Will flood communities in Kenya where hopelessness once reigned.

We saw the Glory of God shine in refugee camps and nations where Christians are persecuted.

Through your partnership, prayers, and generosity, clean water flowed, the Gospel of Jesus was preached to the unreached, disciples were made, churches were planted, missionaries were strengthened, and miracles of love unfolded.

Testimony Spotlight: Paraguay, "Transformed By Good Will"

Clean water brought trust.  The Gospel brought transformation.

A Guarani village in Paraguay once rejected the Gospel.  Pastors were run out.  Doors shut tight.  The gospel refused.  But everything changed the day clean water shot up from the earth.  The chief watched quietly as we drilled.  Our missionary partners and local pastor jumped at the opportunity to show him and the village Jesus' love.  And then came the moment we'll never forget.  The chief told our missionary partner, "Because you did what you said you would do, we want to serve your God."

The atmosphere shifted instantly.  From suspicion to openness, from fear to peace.  Meals were shared.  Children gathered clean water.  Our team was invited to return and share the Gospel message at the village celebration of water.  And this was only the beginning!  At the celebration, five villagers put their faith in Jesus and many others received healing.  Now more villages are asking for us to come and drill and share the gospel, asking to be baptized and a church to be built as well.  An area formerly closed off to the Gospel and largely unreached, is now welcoming the Gospel!  With a drilling rig and missionary family committed to this region, it's ready for rapid expansion of the Gospel.  Let's keep sending and going and giving to see the unreached reached!

Highlights of what God did through your partnership just this year:

Our family (Joel and Joye, Boston, Astair, Legend, Story, Ivy and Soul) served again together in Kenya and we hosted three amazing church missions teams throughout the season:  Bethany Church, Pathway Church, and Livingstones Church.  The Mission Church team also visited our newest well site in the slums of Nairobi. We had six incredible young adult missionaries that served with us, driving teams to remote locations and helping with outreaches this season as well.  It's not an easy task, but these young men were instrumental in reaching these remote areas with the Gospel:  Jon Ross, Scout, Ben, Nick, Dio, and Dariyen.  Missionary Pam Englade came to Kenya as well and kept this team fed and alive!
Jon Ross and Scout Mounger served all season with us and we’ve added them to our field missionary page so people can give directly to them.  We've added Erik and Megan on our field missions page too.  Phil Dicharry and Donna Dicharry led the Bethany team again and Phil will be added to our Field Missionaries now!  Phil has officially retired and wants to be even more available for missions.  He will be joining Joel in January in Indonesia.  We love what God is doing through each of their lives and their willingness to keep going to the least!

We will proclaim His glory with the angels!  His peace and good will to all the earth.

With Much Love in Christ,

Joel and Joye Dicharry and Family
