We are so thankful for your support of Commission Mankind in sharing the gospel and meeting needs as Christ met needs. We are committed to doing whatever we see the Father doing and joining Him in His work. (John 5:19) In 2019, we (Joel and Joye) started the non-profit Commission Mankind. And since 2020, God has had our family of nine (Joel, Joye, and our seven amazing missionary kids: Thad, Boston, Astair, Legend, Story, Ivy, and Soul) serving and living in the Machakos Hills of Kenya. We are bringing clean water wells to the remote villages there and connecting ministries of God for the evangelism of the lost and unreached tribes throughout East Africa. We are also drilling and partnering with ministries to further the Gospel in Nepal, Pakistan, Honduras, South Sudan, Tanzania, India, and Guyana. Many are responding to the message of salvation with deep joy and hundreds are being baptized right beside the wells in the baptismals we are building at every well site. Two unreached tribes have received the Gospel, in one the entire tribe gave their lives to Christ! They now have solar audio bibles in their languages for the first time ever! These are exciting times as God continues to expand our vision and call more missionaries to the fields ripe for harvest!

Thad Dicharry
Thad is a recent high school graduate and is the Fleet Manager and Lead Mechanic for all the Dirt Bikes we use heavily in our operations for Commission Mankind in Kenya. Thad is also our electrician and solar power operator. Thad has been maintaining our CMK dirtbikes and keeping our vehicles running for five years now. He also rebuilds our generators and maintains our tools. He spends hours and puts in thousands of miles checking on well sites and scouting for new areas that are very remote—making them virtually unknown—and in desperate need of water. He is passionate about helping the ones who have no voice.
Ally Athuman
Ally is our CMK Chief Diesel Mechanic. Ally specializes in repairing and rebuilding Land cruisers. He has spent many years repairing land cruisers for safari companies in Tanzania. Ally is a native of Tanzania and an experienced driver for Commission Mankind. Ally is a reliable and invaluable member of our team. He has a heart to reach those who need clean water.
